we’re at the brink of a war….

My this, so called quick ‘research’ had been triggered by Israel Air Force youtube revelation of 28^th December air strike that caused 400 Palestinian dead..
My heart ripped and I hereby state my say..

due to my interest and common instinct of distraction when my own knowledge of technology had been applied to fund war of terror, I hereby wanted to tell you a bit about the technology of Israel and how geomatics (my own study line that studied terrain analysis, positioning, satellite images, etc ) had so much ‘help’ the war.

Regarding to this i-think-80%-of-it-is-reliable Wikipedia website of Military Equipment of Israel, there is one particular detail that catches my eyes..

It’s the series of satellites that had been launched by Israel..

1^st, there was EROS.

The Earth Resources Observation Satellite - Israeli project consist of 3 planned satellite launches in 2000, 2006 and 2009.

The 1st satellite, EROS1(launched in 2000) had resolution of 1.8m. Meaning, one pixel of the image captured by this low-earth orbital (LEO) satellite is 1.8m. Not so much help in military except for preparing battlefield plan regarding to the terrain in close combat war.

This LEO satellite type is fixed in a spot (geocentric) and usually is used by daylight.

But then, they launched EROS2 in 2006. The doom of Palestine and the Arab nations, for in 2006, the Israeli had already a big eye on the sky.

With 70cm of resolutions, EROS2 really had churned my stomach. While the Palestinian are busy purchasing the small little rockets, and the Arabs are busying shopping with their mistresses driving Bentleys, the Israeli had monitored what had happened at the backyard of their houses since 2006. 70cm equal to newspaper headlines.

Now I get it.

By launching the EROS2, the so-very-mysteriously quite Israel military, 2007 is a year of digitizing and processing images of the whole Gaza strip and monitoring them from not-so-quite afar. Everything would be mapped and every house will have their location known. With spies, the map will include names, activities, and most importantly - Latitude, longitude…

EROS3 will be launched in 2009. Resolution could be lesser than 70cm…

The 2^nd one is the Ofeq Israeli Satellite series.

This is a specific military reconnaissance spy satellite with geocentric orbit built by Israel. With 8 satellites launched since 1988-2009, these spy satellite are much scarier than EROS series. While exact technical details and capabilities are classified ( I searched everywhere..owhd shucks)..it is assumed that the Ofeq satellites have ultraviolet and visible imaging sensors. Some early reports stated the reconnaissance capabilities as such that would allow “reading license plates”, but that can be ruled out on grounds of physical optics. Other reports more plausibly place the imaging resolution at 0.8 meters for Ofeq 5.

The latest series, which named Ofec7 was launched on June 2008. of course la more accurate then Ofec5 kan. I bet it’s an optical backup for EROS’s images..or other way around. But who cares, they BOTH can shoot LESSER than 70cm images…

The 3^rd series of Israel’s satellites are the AMOSs series..

what is a war without a good communication eyh?
the latest AMOS3 satellite was launched in April 2008. Just nice for this December attack, I think. Communications satellites provide a microwave radio relay technology complementary to that of submarine communication cables. They are also used for mobile applications such as communications to ships, vehicles, planes and hand-held terminals, and for TV and radio broadcasting, for which application of other technologies, such as cable, is impractical or impossible.

And sorry to say, the EROS, Ofec and AMOS are not the only satellites series Israel had launched. Lets se what we have here..

positioning GPS satellites (checked) – of course la US had turned off the anti-spoofing thingy.
communication satellites (checked)..

so how about in night time and in building?

the answer could be frightening.

January 28th 2008 - the day of the answer above.
the big eye of Israel had been launched at India Space Center.
the magic name is TecSAR.

It’s a reconnaissance satellite type aka Spy Satellite built just for military used. The TecSAR satellite is fitted with a large dish-like antenna to transmit and receive radar signals that can penetrate darkness and thick clouds. Sorry to say that TecSAR ranks among the world’s most advanced space systems..

And while this information had already been in Wikipedia and military websites all these year (ok, its last year – 2008), the Arabs and other pro-Palestinian countries had done nothing about it..nor shout concerns about the impact and smell the fishy mishy thingy planned by Israel…

And furthermore, with a SmartBomb precision of only less than 2m, its as easy as punching the latitude and longitude of the target referenced by EROS’s map and off the bomb fly from Israel border to the target with no stop station.

No pray can help them with the technology that advance…
without a counter technology defense, Palestine currently is a sitting duck.

Please be known that with current technology advances of Israel, no rockets of Hamas can ever defense them and their Gaza strip. One click and it’s over. The silent genocide triggered by propaganda-accussation-and-twisted-words can be repeated. That’s how US won over Iraq and that’s how Israel gonna win over Palestine. But this is not for oil, its daym personal.

Now that I reveal the problems, it’s time for the propose solution… for 15 minutes (only) (and will update it if I have any idea later), these are the solutions I can come out with..

1.Hamas should build underground base.
Stay there and learn about technology more..
No radar and satellite (till now) can ever penetrate soil. Ever wonder why the ever so advance US can’t search for Osama? Hiding in a cave is the safest place against air strike and detection and with thousands of caves in Afghanistan, it provide the au natural geological ford for him. The only solution for capturing Osama is to raid all caves of Afghanistan. Or bomb all the mountains and killed the environment and poisoned the river.. Har har har..

anyway, back to Palestine.

2.Create Safe Zone.
UN should create a safe zone, monitored by UN army as the guardians to evacuate and muster all women and children of Palestine in it. With UN medical staffs and volunteers to help injured Palestinian of Israel attack, the Safe Zone will create a sanctuary for the women and children. UN army should disengaged Hamas fighter from the Safe Zone for not compromising the safety of the women and children. One bomb of Israel to the Safe Zone will resulted in international angriness even IF the Israel claimed that the ‘leader’ of Hamas probably hiding there (the ‘usual’ reason of their attack to Palestinian civilians). This Safe Zone has to be flooded with international reliefs organization to act like a shield from Israel attack madness…

3.Electromagnetic Bomb
One bomb in the heart of Israel Military base and that’s it. No Kamikaze for Hamas fighter and no harm for Israel civilians and nobody would die because of it. It can disable electronic systems on which industrialized nations are highly dependent. Devices that are susceptible to EMP damage, from most to least vulnerable are Integrated circuits (ICs), CPUs, silicon chips, transistors and diodes, inductors, electric motors, vacuum tubes (also known as thermionic valves, gold-coated tubes can easily survive and are commonly found in “hardened” electronics like MIG fighter jets’ control systems).
It is a perfect device to amputate Israeli technology use for killing the Palestinian. Well, at least for a while..

4.Security Council
UN security council and Arab’s nation, meanwhile, should work on this problem and should NOT be like cats and dogs in this issue. Trust is misleading and 3^rd party investigator and solver of non-allegiance in any of the sides should contribute to the solution of this matter. With child’s solution, just divide the land 50-50 between Palestine and Hamas and solve this freaking problem. It had been bothering peace of the world since ages..

War CAN be prevented and NOBODY should die because of another stupid war…
Enough of people die because of the misleading claimed of US with it’s ever-so-mysterious-non-founding biological and chemical weapons in Iraq. People of the world knew it was personal vendetta of Bush’s father against Saddam and of course, the Oil multi-million tender.

Argh..

Nobody should die in this war and enough is enough.
we will only lead to our own damnation and hate.
human will become extinct if nuclear war is on the tip of the egg.
believe it or not, if this Israeli-Palestinian war is going to be held,
the Arab nation will retaliate,
nuclear war is inevitable,
and of course, mass ‘evaporation’ of humans and city will be on our face..
and the peace world we known for many2 years,
built by our forefather will be full of hate and vengeance..
and no more peace will come to this world..
it will be wasted.
and full of hell-like events..

last few days, when i was at the peak of bored ness and so-called hiatus in the house, i went outside to breath fresh air. I called a cab.

and so, to prevent myself from the habit of buying everything that on sale, i went far away from the mall and get insights of what had happened to my favorite places when i was ever-then-so-naive 12years old. Museum Negara, Planetarium and Butterfly Park.

i cant remember a single thing about those places. my amnesia had proven it course. but after i went there, i think i know why. for having a habit of NOT remembering something that is not important and devastatingly not good for myself, i think i deliberately had delete the memories of going there previously coz those places are utterly…………most insignificantly………..disappointing.

if i had saved the Agong’s or PM’s life once and make him granted one wish of mine in the world, i would ask him to make me the curator of our National Museum.

seriously,

i think i can do much more better job than the present curator. its very very very dissapointing for a nation, full of mixed culture, interesting history and a very prominent beautiful timeline of history, starting in early Neolithic’s ages, to see our national museum upclose and personal…so…little.

ARGH!

all i can see is just perhaps only 10% or perhaps 3% of our MALAYSIA history in there. where does all our treasure went?????? all i see is replicas, only a BIT of it, and its all junkies. can you imagine, thousands of years of civilizations, the museum only displayed junkies consist of 2 levels and 4 sections of our ‘national’ history.

• where’s our great valuable archeological grandeur of Neolithic and Mesolithic’s settlements treasures?? they only displayed replicas and junks of potteries that they’re not even bothered to plastered it all to one potter. its all left to pieces..wht the hell was tht???

• where’s our treasure shipwrecks stuffs all around Malaysia? pirates? the police force? -  in 14th century till world war 2? sure hell we get some lefts before the treasure hunters get it. display it, u assholes!

• where’s the history of our great forefather warrior stuffs?

• what about the history and information of our architectural assorted designs?? lifestyles - politically and socially since the early 13th century??

• where’s our old old valuable manuscripts? the one that captured Admiral Cheng Ho visits, Tun Sri Lanang’s writings and also diary2 of Malaya’s citizens during world war 2?

• where’s our national proofs of races integrity since the earliest history recorded? i WANT to know what all of the states looks like previous hundreds years ago and i WANT to know the origin of me, my father and my forefather in every races. i WANT to know MY history and my country history and feel and see it with my own eyes to really appreciate it.

very disappointing.

i’ve went to national museum in Korea, art museums in Holland, Belgium and of course, The Lourve. but frankly, our National Museum of Malaysia is just full of junks. a very little unsatisfying junks..

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! i’m very very very very disappointed.

make me the curator of National Museum and i’ll SHOW you what’s Malaysia history is like. I’ll use the dictator and treasure hunter’s way to make the National Museum of Malaysia the most interesting museum in South East Malaysia. as part of the people who lived in the most interesting history of a nation in the whole world, i think we should let them know the beauty of our own history.

who we are..
where we come from..
achievements..glory…
what put us all together..
what we had become and what we CAN become..,

that is all the task of History.
we need History to guide us.
we need history to know what we’re made of.
and what we’re actually after.
our weakness, our strength.
it’s all stated in History.

if we forget our history, we wouldn’t remember our weaknesses and strengths.
and we would not move forward, and just sit still where we are now.

argh…

this is the museum that all people from around the world went to see how Malaysia was, is and will look. but we only gave them our ‘best’ 3% of it. Malacca Museum is much more impressing than our NATIONAL museum. crap.

and don’t make me started on the Planetarium. it was full with faces of our male-Milo-model of our dear ‘astronaut’. him, him and him EVERYWHERE!!
no information of the big bang,
no information of solar system,
no information about the earth itself. what happened, what it made of and what is going to happen.
they didn’t even display information about our planets!!!!
sister-earth venus, a-day-is-longer-than-a-year mercury, possible-bacteria-like-life-form mars, the great jupiter, the interesting atmospheric-present moons of Jupiter and Saturn, the mysterious Saturn and it’s rings, the blue planet Uranus and of course, the sad chronology of Pluto drama.
And what about the crazy hundreds of comets and meteorites??

nothing, nothing, and nothing about those stuffs!!!

what happened to formal interactive and educational system of our National exhibition??? the one that students from all around Malaysia will go in their holiday?????

my 2nd wish (if my wish of being the curator of Museum Negara cant be granted because of possible dictator-like and tomb rider-like curator emerge), i will ask to be the exhibition manager of Planetarium of Malaysia. and here’s the prove it need a new manager…

i’ve stop making new year resolutions like few years ago when my all time resolutions of a) getting a boyfriend and b) lose 5kgs never met the target,  but to hell lah, this year, i’m gonna make resolutions. and different from my previous years, i’m gonna totally WORK on it… and of course, will never FORGET about it after february (coz tht wht usually happens)..

2009, i greet you with a big WELCOME and ngiah hah hah..

anywy, these are my resolutions :

1. lose 10kgs max, 5kgs min.
2. get myself a boyfriend. not a fling, not a 2 weeks crush, not an anime character, not a celebrity bloke and definitely not some dead noble-prize-winner-scientist-or-humanitarian in wikipedia…
   seriously.. being 26 and never had boyfriend before is actually a mixed pro and con in my life.. it’s time for me to end it this year..
   it’s time, for me to have a boyfriend… hohohoho.. its gonna be an interesting year..
3. heightened up technical skills and writings in work.
   workaholic, posh, neat and nice. yahhaaa….
4. going back to KL at least once every two months to meet up mom.
5. opening up again my dusty investment portfolio.
6. will try to go to Vietnam or/and Cambodia.
7. write a technical paper. my own technical paper.
   *i contributed one last year, published in a technical journal but i shared it with 3 other people. not fun…
8. read read read, write write write
9. 5 flat, on time.
10. have fun and be a successful lady.  wuhuuu~~
